Italian Serie A giants AS Roma have signed Argentine midfielder Javier Pastore from French champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG).
The 29-year-old has signed a five-year deal at the capital club in a deal believed to be around €24.7m.
AS Roma saw off the challenge of Premier League outfit West Ham United in the race to sign the Argentina international once PSG indicated they were willing to sell him in a bid to comply with UEFA’s Financial Fair Play regulations.
He joined PSG from Palermo in 2011 and went on to score 45 goals in 265 appearances for the club before exiting the club with a year left on his contract.
