Super Eagles captain John Mikel Obi has revealed that he’s ready for the all-important Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup Group D clash with former winners Argentina on Tuesday night.
He also added that the team is ready to do Nigerians proud.
Nigeria presently occupy second spot in Group D behind leaders Croatia who gave already booked their spot in the knockout stage.
The Super Eagles need at least a point against Argentina to secure their own place in the last 16 while Jorge Sampaoli have to win to avoid an early exit.
The Tianjin Teda FC of China midfielder was speaking via a tweet he shared on his official Twitter handle on Tuesday afternoon.
His tweet said: “Ready for a big game tonight. Thank you for all the support, we are ready to do you proud.”
