HANDBALL: Lagos Cadet Female Team Back with a Bang at National Under 18&20 Handball Championship

Lagos State U18 female handball team shrugged off defeat to Mind Scope on Sunday to dispatch Kogi 27-15 on Monday, the second day of the National Under 18 and 20 Handball Championship ongoing at Rowe Park Sports Center, Yaba.

Kogi, however, restored some pride through their U18 male team which defeated academy team, Future Pro 34-28 on Monday.

In the last game played on Monday, Kwara beat Lagos 46-35 in the U21 female category. The championships resumes on Tuesday with more games scheduled at the Rowe Sports Park, Yaba.

In matches played in the U21 male category, Kwara won a second game on the bounce by seeing off the FCT 32-27 while Lagos also made it two wins from two with victory over Bayelsa 33-27.
