
Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich have been drawn against fourth-tier minnows SV Roedinghausen in the second round of the German Cup after the draw took place on Sunday.
The Bavarian giants will travel to face Roedinghausen, near Bielefeld for a place in the third round.
Last season’s beaten finalists barely scrapped past amateur village team Drochtersen/Assel 1-0 in the last round courtesy Robert Lewandowski’s late strike.
Several top flight teams were pitted against each other via Sunday’s draw.
RB Leipzig will play TSG Hoffenheim at home in one of such fixtures, while Bayer Leverkusen will be the guests of Borussia Moenchengladbach.
Giantkillers Ulm stunned holders Eintracht Frankfurt in the first round and the fourth-tier team will face Fortuna Dusseldorf at home in the second round.
Last season’s Bundesliga runners up Schalke 04 have been handed a tricky draw away to FC Cologne, while the immediate past winner Borussia Dortmund face Union Berlin at home.
Second-round matches will take place between October 30-31.
