EPL: Iwobi Breaks Duck As Everton Go Fourth With Win At Wolves

Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi scored his first goal in the league this season as Everton kept up their charge for a Champions League spot with victory at Wolves.

Iwobi opened scoring in the fifth minute for his first goal in 38 Premier League appearances, fifteen of which have come this season.

The hosts, however, equalised in the 14th minute through Ruben Neves.

The Toffees’ sixth away win in the league this season was sealed after Michael Keane rose highest in the area to convert Andre Gomes’ teasing cross from the left thirteen minutes from time.

Victory at the Molineux Stadium lifts Carlo Ancelotti’s side to fourth in the table, level on points with third-place Leicester and only four off the lead held by Manchester United who beat Burnley courtesy of a Paul Pogba winner.
