Newly invited Super Eagles striker Junior Lokosa has revealed that he is eager to make his debut for the team against DR Congo in an international friendly billed for Monday.
Lokosa is currently in the Uyo camp of the team after making the World Cup provisional squad as reward for scoring 18 league goals in 20 league goals for Kano Pillars.
Lokosa, who has enjoyed a meteoric rise having played for First Bank in the Nigeria National League (NNL) 12 months ago, was speaking in a chat with CSN.
In his words, he said: ”I can’t wait to play my first game for the Super Eagles. It’s has been my ambition right from when I started playing football and it’s very close now.”
“The atmosphere in camp is great and it’s been a wonderful experience for me. The old guys have help me to settle down well.” he concluded.
