American football outfit Dallas Cowboys have topped the list of the most valuable Sports teams for a second year running after Forbes released the 2018 edition on Wednesday.

The Dallas-based team finished ahead of football clubs like Manchester United, Real Madrid and Barcelona to take the number one spot on the list.

There were four American football clubs, three football teams, three basketball outfits and one baseball team in the top 10.

The American football clubs are Dallas Cowboys, New York Yankees, New England Patriots and New York Giants.

Three football outfits namely Manchester United, Real Madrid and Barcelona made the list.

New York Knicks, Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors are the basketball teams on the list, while New York Yankees are the only Baseball team in the top 10.

Dallas Cowboys topped the list as they were valued at a whooping sum of $4.8bn ahead of Manchester United ($4.123bn), Real Madrid ($4.08bn), Barcelona ($4.064bn) and New York Yankees ($4bn) in second, third, fourth and fifth respectively.

New England Patriots ($3.7bn) are in sixth spot and New York Knicks ($3.6bn) in seventh.

Los Angeles Lakers and New York Giants ($3.3bn) occupy joint eighth, while Golden State Warriors and Washington Redskins ($3.1bn) are in joint tenth.
