Juventus Release New Third Kit Designed From Recovered Ocean Plastic (Video)

Italian champions Juventus have unveiled a new third kit made from plastic recovered from the oceans thus following the footsteps of other major European sides like Real Madrid and Manchester United.

Juventus released the new kit through their official Twitter handle on Wednesday via a short video.

The predominantly grey third kit has yellow stripes by the sides and is designed by sponsors Adidas in conjunction with Parley for Oceans.

Through their website, the club explains that the new kit “combines modern lines and colours with cutting edge technology, with an innovative glance at the environment.”

The Turin-based footballing giants have been in the news of recent for the right reasons.

They recently unveiled Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo after he penned a four-year contract with the club in a club record deal worth at least €100m plus add-ons.

Juventus become the 4th team to wear jerseys made from recovered ocean plastic after Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Manchester United.
