Super Eagles forward, Ademola Lookman was in action as a Fiorentina pipped Atalanta 1-0 in Wednesday’s Coppa Italia semi-finals first leg at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.

Lookman, who was not given enough rooms to cause havoc in Fiorentina defence, was later substituted in the 78th minute for El Bilal Toure.

Fiorentina scored the only goal of the game in the 31st minute through Rolando Mandragora to the delight of the home crowd.

Efforts by Atalanta to level parity proved abortive as the host defended their lone goal.

Atalanta will be hoping to turn the result around when they clash in the second leg.
