According to reports from freekick.com.ng, Lobi Stars have appointed Ex-Super Eagles goalkeeper Greg Etafia to spy on Mamelodi Sundowns ahead of their CAF Champions League group stage opener.
Lobi, who were selected as winners of the 2017/18 NPFL season, host the 2016 champions in Enugu on January 11 in their opening Group A match of the 2019 Total CAF Champions League.
“Lobi Stars vice-chairman Mike Idoko has already contacted me for spy tactical analysis on Sundowns,” Etafia disclosed.
“Mamelodi Sundowns is a big top club with a lot of financial muscle. They are a team who like to attack both at home and away, but currently, they are suffering a lot of injuries”.
“Lobi Stars have the quality to pull off a victory which will set the tone for their campaign.” the former Plateau United shot-stopper stated.
