CAFCC: Kano Pillars Undergo Covid-19 Tests Ahead Of ASC Jaraaf Tie

Players and officials of Kano Pillars have undergone Covid-19 tests ahead of their trip to Dakar, Senegal where they face ASC Jaraaf in the first leg of their CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round.

The mandatory tests are a part of CAF’s Covid-19 preventive protocol and all members of Pillars’ travelling squad must present a clean bill of health before and on arrival in Dakar.



The four-time Nigerian league champions play ASC Jaraaf on Saturday, 28 November before hosting the return leg at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium on the weekend of 4-6 December.

Meanwhile, club officials have once again inspected the Ahmadu Bello Stadium with executives of the Kaduna State FA and the Nigeria Football Federation’s inspection team also present to ensure facilities at the stadium fulfil all CAF criteria for hosting games.

Pillars will play all home games at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium after their traditional home ground at the Sani Abacha Stadium was temporarily converted an isolation centre for Covid-19 patients.
