The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has revealed that the much publicised Video Assistant Referee (VAR) technology will debut at the Super Cup match between Wydad Casablanca and TP Mazembe.
According to CAF, VAR will be in place for the Super Cup clash scheduled to take place at the Stade Mohammed V. Stadium in Casablanca on the 24th of February.
The 2018 CAF Super Cup will be contested between the 2017 CAF Champions League (CAFCL) winners, Wydad Casablanca, and the 2017 CAF Confederation Cup (CAFCC), TP Mazembe.
