CAF Confederation Cup: Rivers United Showed Character In Win Against Dreams FC — Ogenyi

Rivers United coach Evans Ogenyi says his side showed strong fight in the win against Ghana’s Dreams FC.

The Port Harcourt club rallied from a goal down to beat the visitors 2-1 at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.

Rivers United finished in second position in Group C and earned qualification to the quarter-finals.

Ogenyi praised his players for fighting back to win the game.

“The most important thing is the qualification. We told our players not to be anxious. We had like three chances in the first half which we wasted,” Ogenyi told reporters after the game.
