European hopefuls RB Leipzig have moved ahead of Bayer Leverkusen into second spot after they recorded an impressive 2-0 win over Augsburg at home in a week 22 Bundesliga clash played on Friday night.

Leipzig secured the victory courtesy goals from young French defender Dayot Upamecano and Liverpool-bound Naby Keita either side of halftime.

The win was enough to move RB Leipzig (38 points) one place from 3rd to 2nd while Augsburg’s European pursuit suffered a dent as they remain in 7th spot with 31 points.
