Super Eagles defender, Kevin Akpoguma was missing in action as Hoffenheim defeated Borussia Dortmund 3-2 in Sunday’s Bundesliga game.

The Nigerian international, who has made 12 appearance this ongoing season for Hoffenheim, is currently nursing a back injury.

Hoffenheim struck first in the second minute through Bebou before Donyell Malen leveled parity in the 21st minute for Dortmund.

The host extended their lead in the 25th minute through Nico Schlotterbeck.

However, Hoffenheim equalised in the 61st minute through Maximilian Beier to make it 2-2 before grabbing the winning goal in the 64th minute to earn the visitor a precious three points.

The victory means Hoffenheim sit seventh on 30 points while Borussia Dortmund 4th on 41 points on the league table.
