Super Eagles defender, Kevin Akpoguma was in action as RB Leipzig defeated Hoffenheim 3-1 in Saturday’s Bundesliga.

The Nigerian international has made nine appearance this ongoing season and has received five yellow cards.

Akpoguma came on as a substitute for Ozan Kabak in the 75th minute.

However, the host took the lead in the 34th minute through Klostermann before Kabak leveled parity for Hoffenheim in the 42nd minute.

RB Leipzig extended their lead in the 70th minute through Forsberg before Simakan netted in the 74th minute to take the game beyond the reach of Hoffenheim.

The win means RB Leipzig sit 3rd on 32 points while Hoffenheim sit 6th on 23 points in the league table.
