Nigerian Winger Sheyi Ojo Left Out Of Liverpool Squad To France Training Tour

Nigerian winger Sheyi Ojo has been left out of the Liverpool squad for their training camp in France to further fuel talks of transfer exit from the club.

He was conspicuously absent from the 29-man squad released by the club on Monday evening.

Sheyi Ojo has featured heavily for the Reds during preseason but that has not stopped him from being linked with other European sides like VFL Wolfsburg, Middlesbrough and Reading.

He has played in six of the club’s seven preseason games and was on target in the 4-1 thumping of rivals Manchester United.

The 21-year-old previously had loan spells at Wolverhampton Wanderers, Wigan Athletic and Fulham.

The England U20 World Cup winner made 22 appearances at newly promoted Premier League side Fulham as he helped the London club secure a return back to top flight football in England.

His Nigerian-born teammate Dominic Solanke was included in the 29-man squad to France.
