Belgian forward Michy Batshuayi has signed for Spanish La Liga outfit Valencia on loan from Chelsea.
Batshuayi, 24, joins Valencia on a season-long loan deal from the former Premier League champions.
His departure leaves the trio of Olivier Giroud (France), Alvaro Morata (Spain) and Tammy Abraham (England) as Chelsea’s recognised strikers.
Michy Batshuayi signed for Chelsea from French Ligue 1 giants Olympique Marseille and has scored 19 goals in 53 games.
He spent the second half of last season on loan at German Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund, scoring nine times in 14 appearances.
Michy Batshuayi was part of the Belgium squad that finished third at the recently concluded FIFA World Cup tournament in Russia.
