Algerian legend Rabah Madjer has named the Super Eagles of Nigeria among the favourites for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Super Eagles are targeting a fourth title at the upcoming competition which will be hosted by Cote d’Ivoire.

Madjer believed Jose Peseiro’s men are among the team that can win the title at the competition.

“Predicting standout teams is a challenging task, given the diverse pool of formidable contenders,”Madjer who won the AFCON title with Algeria in 1990 told CAFonline.

“Some teams will obviously be aiming to go far in the continental competition, while others enter the competition with the sole aim of clinching the coveted title.”
