Super Eagles forward Samuel Chukwueze got a warm welcome from his AC Milan teammates and coaches on Wednesday after returning from the AFCON 2023.

In a video posted in Milan’s Instagram account on Thursday, the likes of Olivier Giroud, Rafael Leao and other Milan players were seen embracing Chukwueze at the training ground.

Another part of the video saw Chukwueze chatting with Milan head coach Stéfano Pioli.

Chukwueze then went on to thank Milan fans for their support during the AFCON.

“Hi, Milanistas I’m back, I’m so happy to be back I miss you guys.

“I want to continue where I stopped, I love you guys and thanks for the support at the AFCON.“

Chukwueze featured in some of the Eagles’ games as they finished as runners-up after losing 2-1 to hosts Côte d’Ivoire in the final.
