Thomas Tuchel has been sacked by Paris Saint-Germain, according to reports in Germany.
The decision to dismiss the 47-year-old German came hours after the French champions beat Racing Strasbourg 4-0, which saw them close the gap to Ligue 1 leaders Lyon.
According to Sky Germany, PSG’s sporting director Leonardo relieved Tuchel of his managerial duties on Wednesday night, which comes four months after Tuchel led the Parisian outfit to the Champions League final.
Italian football journalist Fabrizio Romano also tweeted confirmation of Tuchel’s dismissal.
Wednesday night’s game at the Parc des Princes was the club’s last game before the league’s three-week winter break, which will see them return on 6 January to face St Etienne.
He took charge of 127 games in Ligue 1 winning 96 and losing 20 and won two league titles.
