Achraf Hakimi: Moroccan Defender Signs For Inter Milan

Moroccan defender Achraf Hakimi has completed his move from Real Madrid to Inter Milan on a five-year deal.

The 21-year-old full-back made just 17 appearances for Real and has spent the last two seasons on loan at Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund.

Inter have paid 40m euros with 5m euros of add-ons for the Madrid academy graduate who was pictured attending a medical in Italy on Tuesday.

In a statement, Real thanked Hakimi for his service and wished him well in his “new chapter”.

“The club wishes to thank Achraf for his many years of dedication, professionalism and exemplary conduct since he joined our academy in 2006 and wishes him all the very best in this new chapter,” Real said on its website.

Hakimi who can play at right- or left-back, as well as in midfield made more than 70 appearances for Dortmund, scoring 12 goals.
