Philipp Lahm Set To Come Out Of Retirement – Reports

Germany and Bayern Munich legend, Philipp Lahm is reportedly set to make a sensational return to professional football months after retiring.

According to German news outlet, Bild, Lahm, who retired at the end of last season, have received two offers from Hamburg and St. Pauli to come out of retirement.

St. Pauli’s Business Manager, Andreas Rettig is said to have sent Lahm an offer to come out of retirement until the end of the season with the option for another year, saying “I would like to make a big transfer again.”

The 33-year-old 2014 FIFA World Cup winner, spent a trophy laden career at Bayern Munich, winning eight Bundesliga titles, six German Cups, the Champions League, Uefa Super Cup and the Fifa Club World Cup.
