Abd’Allah Joins Wikki Tourists on a Multi-Million Short-Term Deal

Usman Abd’Allah has joined Wikki Tourists as Technical Adviser of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side on a short-term deal, a week after being sacked by Enyimba.

Abd’Allah, who led Enyimba to their record 8th NPFL title last season before his shock departure last week, replaces Garba Ibrahim at the Bauchi-based outfit.

He has already agreed a 5-month contract worth Twelve Million Naira (N12million), and has been tasked to stabilize the club and ensure they are not relegated to the lower division.

“It’s a good deal, so I decided to accept it. Who will offer you N12m in five months? Come on! I took it,” Abd’Allah told www.busybuddiesng.com in a telephone chat.

“I am here to stabilize the team and hopefully help them remain in the NPFl and change things for next season.

”They have a good budget and I think the target is achievable.”

Wikki Tourists are currently placed 14th on the NPFL standings with 16 points from 13 matches (with a game in hand.

Abd’Allah is expected to be in charge of the team when they face struggling Adamawa United in Gombe in one of Wednesday’s Match Day 15 fixtures.
