Nigeria’s first ever outing in beach handball resulted in victory as the national beach volleyball team saw off their Kenyan counterparts 2-0 at the Africa Beach Handball Championship holding in Cape Verde.

The national beach handball team in what was their first ever competitive match dominated the Kenyans and were superior in both the first and second halves. 

Nigeria led 23-10 at half time before scoring 28 more times after the interval while conceding a further six times. 

The national beach handball team will take on Egypt next.
