2017 CAF Champions League winning coach Hussein Ammouta has surprisingly been sacked by the Moroccan club.
Ammouta, 48, was fired from his post as the club’s head coach by Wydad Casablanca president Said Naciri.

Other coaching crew members like his assistant Rachid Benmahmoud, physio Leflouh, GK coach Amedoui and club doctor Dr. Alaa Racine Rehali were also all sacked.
Hussein Ammouta led Wydad Casablanca to a 2nd CAF Champions League (CAFCL) title following a 2-1 aggregate win over Al Ahly of Egypt and that feat bagged him a nomination as African Coach of the Year.
He was pipped to the award by the Egyptian national team coach Hector Cuper.
