Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan have been given a tough group after the draw for the Nigeria National League (NNL) abridged league draw took place earlier on Tuesday in Lagos.
The former Nigerian champions were pitched in Group B1 (Southern Division) alongside Warri Wolves, Gateway, Akwa Starlets, Abia Comets, Spartans, J. Atete, Insurance and Bayelsa United.
3SC dropped down to the NNL after they suffered relegation from the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) at the end of last season.
The Ibadan-based side would be hoping head coach Edith Agoye can orchestrate the team’s return back to the NPFL when hostilities begin in the NNL abridged league on March 3.
