Nordin Amrabat Joins Al Nassr From Watford

Morocco international winger Noureddine ‘Nordin’ Amrabat has signed for Al Nassr FC of Saudi Arabia.

His move was confirmed on Monday by Al Nassr via a tweet which said: “Al-Nassr signed a three-year contract with Moroccan midfielder Nordin Amrabat, congratulations.”

He’s in line to make his debut when Al Nassr clash with Al Jazira in an Arab Club Champions Cup tie on August 7.

The 31-year-old joins the Saudi club on a three-year deal from Premier League outfit Watford.

He moved to the Hornets from Spanish Segunda side Malaga in January 2016 and went on to make 48 appearances for the London club in all competitions.

Nordin Amrabat spent last season on loan at Spanish club Levante and helped the club escape relegation from La Liga.

He was the standout player for Morocco at the just concluded FIFA World Cup tournament in Russia but was unable to prevent his team from crashing out in the group stage after the North Africans finished bottom of Group B.
