2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup Wrap: Mali, England Into The Semis

Mali and England have qualified for the semifinal of the ongoing U-17 World Cup in India following their quarterfinal victories over Ghana and USA respectively.

Mali defeated West African rivals Ghana 2-1 courtesy goals from Hadji Drame and Djemoussa Traore while Mohammed Kudus got the consolation goal from the penalty spot for the junior Black Stars. Mali will face the winner of the game between Spain and Iran in the last four.

In the other quarterfinal clash played on Saturday, Rhian Brewster netted a hattrick to lead England to the 4-1 thrashing of the United States of America (USA) thereby sealing a semifinal meeting with the winner of the huge clash between Brazil and Germany on Sunday.
