Super Eagles star John Ogu has described the feeling of winning the Isreali Premier League title as special.

John Ogu, who was recently named as part of a 30-man provisional World Cup squad ahead of Russia 2018, was speaking at a media briefing in Port Harcourt.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria are in Port Harcourt for a World Cup warm up game with DR Congo scheduled for the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium on Monday evening.

In his words, John Ogu said: Winning the league was something special for me and for the team because a lot of people gave up on us.”

“They never believed we could turn things around.” he added.
