Super Eagles newcomer and Chelsea youngster, Ola Aina, have been initiated into the Nigerian national side according to the team’s tradition ahead of the all important FIFA World Cup qualifier against Cameroon.

In a very hilarious moment, the England born right back sang Timaya’s song to the amusement of fellow team mates and officials as the team had dinner.

20-year-old Ola Aina, who has represented England at U-16, U-17, U-18, U-19 and U-20 level, switched allegiance to Nigeria earlier this year after discussions with NFF President Amaju Pinnick.

Fellow first-time invitee, Anthony Nwakaema, and Ifeanyi Mathew were also initiated into the team as seen on John Ogu’s twitter handle.

Nigeria lead Group B of the final qualifying round for Russia 2018 with 6 points from two matches, face second-placed Cameroon at the Godswill Akpabio International stadium on Friday 1 September before traveling to Yaounde three days; later for the reverse fixture.
