When Divock Origi scored that goal against Barcelona that confirmed Liverpool’s place in the final of the 2018/2019 Champions League, it set off a chain of events the results of which have become fully apparent nine long months later.
That night will live long in the minds of Liverpool fans as they orchestrated a 4-0 win over one of the best teams in the world.
Fans celebrated long into the night. And perhaps some of the players too.
Some say the win planted the seed for a new and rampant Liverpool but as has become quite clear, certain players planted seeds of their own too following that euphoric night and the harvest is in.
It has been revealed that Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson’s wife gave birth to a baby boy exactly nine months and a day following that game.
And in a startling coincidence, Mo Salah’s wife Magi also gave birth to a girl nine months and one day since that famous win over Barcelona.
As is to expected, the people of Twitter were quick to make the link.
Divock Origi came in for plenty of praise for his role.
Some even suggested a name for Henderson’s baby.
