FIFA has announced the finalists for The Best FIFA Men’s Player, The Best FIFA Women’s Player and the FIFA Puskas Awards for the 2023 edition of The Best FIFA Football Awards which will be held on Monday 15 January 2024 in London.

The finalists for The Best FIFA Men’s Player, recognising the most outstanding performers in the men’s game from the period of 19 December 2022 to 20 August 2023 are (in alphabetical order): Erling Haaland (Norway / Manchester City FC), Kylian Mbappe (France / Paris Saint-Germain), and Lionel Messi (Argentina / Paris Saint-Germain / Club Internacional de Fútbol Miami).

A total of 12 players were initially nominated for The Best FIFA Men’s Player award, having been chosen by a panel of experts.
