Swansea City Appoint Carlos Carvahal As New Head Coach

Swansea City have appointed Carlos Carvahal as their new head coach.

The Portuguese tactician replaces Paul Clement who was sacked earlier this month after an underwhelming start to the season.

Until his appointment as head coach of the Welsh club, Carlos Carvahal was the head coach at English Championship outfit Sheffield Wednesday.

His immediate task will be to propel Premier League’s bottom club (13 points after 20 games) out of the relegation zone.

Caretaker manager Leon Britton had taken charge of the team in their last two games (against Crystal Palace and Liverpool) following Clement’s dismissal.
