Stephen Odey Ends Goal Drought With FC Zurich As Onyekuru’s Galatasaray Defeat Abdullahi Shehu’s Bursaspor

Former MFM FC striker, Stephen Odey ended his goal drought for FC Zürich to help them from a goal down to beat Xamax 2-1 in their Swiss Super League clash in Sunday.

Odey, who last scored a league goal for FC Zurich in their 3-1 loss to FC St. Gallen, struck the winner for his side in the 76th minute of the game.

Meanwhile, in the Italian Serie B, Simy Nwankwo scored his ninth league goal for Crotone in their 2-2 draw at home to Lecce.

The Super Eagles striker found the back of the net for hosts early in the 6th minute, which makes his fourth goal from his last five league appearances for Crotone.

In Turkey, Abdullahi Shehu was in action for his Turkish side, Bursaspor who lost 3-2 to Henry Onyekuru’s Galatasaray on Sunday.

Onyekuru, who currently sits fourth on the scorers’ chart in the Super Lig having scored 11 goals in 23 league appearances for Galatasaray, provided an assist for Sofiane Feghouli to score the winner.
