Salisu Yusuf Invites 23 Players To Eagles Camp For Atletico Friendly

Super Eagles Team B head coach Salisu Yusuf has called up 23 players ahead of the much anticipated friendly with Spanish giants Atletico Madrid.

The friendly is scheduled for the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo on Tuesday and Salisu has released a 23-man list to prosecute the friendly against the newly crowned UEFA Europa League (UEL) champions.

Highly–rated Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) players such as Plateau United striker Tosin Omoyele, Akwa United FC goalkeeper Olorunleke Ojo and Katsina United defender Destiny Ashadi.

Foreign-based stars like Alhassan Ibrahim, former U17 World Cup-winning captain Musa Muhammed and the Nwakali brothers (Chidiebere and Kelechi) also made the list.

Invited players are expected to be at the team camp (Bolton White Apartments Hotel, Abuja) on Friday, May 18 before shifting base to Uyo at the weekend.
