Review: Rampant PSG On Rampage In French Ligue 1

Big spenders Paris Saint Germain (PSG) continued where they left off before the international break as they were at their rampant best again culminating in a 4-1 win over visiting Nantes at Parc des Princes.

Edinson Cavani and Angel Di Maria gave PSG a 2-0 lead at halftime before they were given a brief scare on the hour mark through Burkina Faso international forward Prejuce Nakoulma who scored to halve the deficit for the visitors. Unai Emery’s team however recovered from that little setback with further strikes from Javier Pastore and Cavani who completed his brace to make it a convincing 4-1 victory.

The victory takes PSG (35 points) six points clear of AS Monaco (29 points) as they capitalised on the points dropped by the French champions in their 1-1 draw at Stade Amiens on Friday night.
