Nigerian striker, Lucky Omeruo has joined Spanish LaLiga side CD Leganes from Lithuanian club, FK Palanga, naija_footballers reports.

The 23-year-old will reunite with his brother, Kenneth Omeruo who is on loan from English Premier League outfit Chelsea, at the Madrid based side – a move which could prove beneficial for both of them.

Although yet to make any senior appearances for the Super Eagles, Lucky made an appearance with the Golden Eaglets in 2010 and two appearances for the Flying Eagles in 2012.

Before joining FK Palanga in 2016, he was with Maltese side Birkirkara F.C. where he spent three seasons before moving to Pembroke Athleta F.C. where he made history with the club when the gained promotion to the top flight for the first time in their history. At Athleta, he made 24 appearances, scoring five goals over two seasons.
