Lobi Stars were forced to a 1-1 draw by visiting Kano Pillars in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) on Monday.

Following the draw, Lobi move to the top in the league table on 33 points and are just a point above Remo Stars.

With just five minutes into the game Stanley Oganbor opened scoring for Lobi.

With two minutes left in the first half Kano Pillars equalized thanks to Suleiman Idris.

In another league game Remo suffered a 2-0 loss away to Katsina United.

Emmanuel Okoko and Nafiu Ibrahim were the scorers for Katsina United.

Also, Sporting Lagos played out 2-2 home draw against Shooting Stars while Bayelsa United beat Bendel Insurance 2-0.
