NFF Chief Jets Off To Morocco For CHAN Meeting/Draw Ceremony

 

Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) member, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, has left the shores of the country to attend both his first meeting as member of the Organizing Committee for the African Nations Championship (CHAN) and the draw ceremony for the competition.

Gusau, who is the chairman of chairmen, was recently appointed into different Confederation of African Football (CAF) committees. The Zambia State Football Association (FA) chairman was one of seven Nigerians appointed into those committees.

The aforementioned meeting will take place on Wednesday, November 15 and it will precede the inspection of facilities that Morocco is putting forward to host the 5th edition of CHAN. The tournament is scheduled for January 12 to February 4, 2018.

Stadia, hotel and training facilities in the Moroccan cities of Tangier, Casablanca, Marrakech have been earmarked for the tournament.

The draw ceremony for the tournament is scheduled for Friday where 16 teams will be divided into four groups of four teams each.
