Mexico Friendly: Eguavoen Cuts Anaemena, Four Others From Squad

NFF Technical Director Augustine Eguavoen has made a final selection of 23 players to make up the Super Eagles squad for next month’s friendly against Mexico at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in California, USA.

Eguavoen who will take charge of the entirely home-based team cut five players from the original list including Rivers United defensive stalwart Ifeanyi Anaemena.

Also out of the team are Christopher Nwaeze (Kwara United), Shaibu Suleman (PKE FC Lagos) and Ekundayo Ojo (Enyimba FC) while Rangers’ Chinonso Ezekwe reportedly left camp to complete a move abroad.
