The Red Devils went into the game against Bournemouth on the back of a hard fought 2-1 win against Chelsea in midweek.

But goals from Dominic Solanke, Philip Billing and Marcos Senesi earned Bournemouth the win.

According to OptaJoe, this is the first time Manchester United have lost a Premier League game at Old Trafford by 3+ goals against a team starting the day in the bottom half of the table.

The Red Devils occupy sixth place on 27 points in the league table.

For Bournemouth, they moved up to 13th position on the log.
