Man City Outclass Fluminense In Final As Guardiola Creates FIFA Club World Cup Records

Manchester City thrashed Brazilian club Fluminense 4-0 in Friday’s final of the FIFA Club World Cup in Saudi Arabia.

A brace from Julian Alvarez, a lone strike from Phil Foden and an own goal by Fluminense’s Nino sealed the dominant win for City.

Guardiola has become the first manager to win the FIFA Club World Cup with three different teams, having won it twice with Barcelona, once with Bayern Munich, and now with City.

The Spanish coach has now won the FIFA Club World Cup more times than any other manager (4 – 2009, 2011, 2013 and 2023), overtaking Carlo Ancelotti (3) with victory here.
