French Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint Germain have extended their lead at the top of the table to 11 points after edging the battle of two former champions with a 3-0 win over their hosts Lille in what was a Matchday 24 clash.

Yuri Berchiche gave the Parisiens the lead on the stroke of halftime before further goals from Brazilian superstar Neymar and young midfielder Giovanni Lo Celso in the last 15 minutes of the game gave Unai Emery’s men their 20th league win of the season.

Marseille (51 points) had earlier trimmed the gap to eight points with the 6-3 win over basement club Metz on Friday night before the victory over Lille stretched PSG’s point tally to 62 points.
