Nice have sacked ex-France and Arsenal midfielder Patrick Vieira as their manager after a run of five straight defeats and a Europa League exit.

The Ligue 1 side released a statement on Friday confirming that Viera’s Romanian assistant Adrian Ursea will take charge as they look for a new manager. 

Viera spent two and a half years in charge of Nice and leaves with the club 11th in Ligue 1.
