Super Eagles forward Henry Onyekuru is in talks to join Greek champions Olympiakos, sources have told busybuddiesng.com.
The 24-year-old Monaco player is understood to be close to signing for Olympiakos with negotiations all but concluded and personal terms sorted out.
Onyekuru joined AS Monaco on a permanent deal from Everton in 2018 but has never managed to establish himself at the Ligue 1 side making a paltry eight appearances in that time.
He spent the second half of last season on loan at Galatasaray – his second such stint with the Turkish side since he joined Monaco – and could be set for another move away from Stade Louis-II this summer.
Onyekuru has scored one goal in 12 appearances for Nigeria and was most recently involved in the Super Eagles final AFCON qualifiers against Benin Republic and Lesotho, providing an assist for Paul Onuachu in the latter.
