Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey has signed a new contract with the German Bundesliga side.

The 21-year-old has signed a new contract extension until 2023 to end speculation about securing a move away from the club.

He had previously been linked with Premier League giants such as Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal.

Leon Bailey was also linked with a transfer to Italian Serie A outfit AS Roma.

The Jamaican-born star was one of the breakout stars of the 2017/18 Bundesliga season as he led his team to fifth position at the end of the season.

Bayer Leverkusen start the new league season at Borussia Moenchengladbach on Saturday.
