However, Youssef En-Nesyri reduced the scoreline to 2-1 in the 60th minute.

All efforts to level parity proved abortive as Real Sociedad picked the maximum points.

The win move Real Sociedad to 5th on 25 points while Sevilla sit 15th on 12 points on the league table.
