Valencia have moved back to within four points of league leaders Barcelona following their 2-0 away win over Catalan side Espanyol in a Matchday 12 clash on Sunday evening.
The home side hit the post twice through Sergi Darder and Gerard Moreno in a first half that ended goalless before a second half completely dominated by Marcelinho’s men.

The win takes Valencia to 30 points from 12 games behind leaders Barcelona (34 points) ahead of their meeting at the Mestalla on Sunday.
