French Ligue 1 side Olympique Marseille have reportedly shown interest in Super Eagles midfielder Mikel Agu in view of a potential summer move.

The former European champions have revealed their interest in Agu, having watched the Porto loanee during Vitória Setúbal’s last weekend fixture against Sporting Braga in the Portuguese Preimeira Liga.

Italian giants Juventus and Spanish La Liga side Villarreal also had scouts in attendance at Estádio Municipal de Braga on Sunday.

The Delta State born midfielder had also been linked with a move to Marseille in the summer only for the deal to fail after he rejected a loan move to the French side.

The defensive midfielder has made five appearances for the Vitórianos so far this season and is set to make another appearance for the Super Eagles in their AFCON qualifier against Bafana Bafana of South Africa.
